Monday night, early into Tuesday morning, everyone probably remembers partying for New Years Eve 2002. The closing of 2001. I was hit head on by a driver in a Honda Civic when he hopped the median. I was trapped in the car and extracted after 45 minutes. I suffered a busted nose, a high sprain in my left ankle, a dislocated little toe, numerous fractures throughout my foot, and a shattered calcaneus (heel). After reconstructive surgery, I now have 30% of the use of my left foot. Not to mention titanium alloy plating and screws. A real bummer.
